Description

Furthermore, there are requirements for strain aging, weldability, stress corrosion, and other indicators for API 5L pipeline steel plates.

Applications

1. API 5L pipeline steel plates are commonly used in the production of pipelines for the transportation of oil, natural gas, and other pipeline conveyance.
2. Pipeline steel can be divided into three types: high-latitude, high-sulfur zone, and subsea laying. Considering the comprehensive evaluation of development trends, laying conditions, main forms of damage, and reasons for the destruction of oil and gas transportation pipelines, it is not only necessary for pipeline steel to have good mechanical properties (thick-walled, high strength, high toughness, wear resistance), but it also needs to possess large diameter, weldability, resistance to low and high temperatures, corrosion resistance (CO2), resistance to seawater, HIC, SSCC performance, etc. These pipeline routes operate in challenging environments, are often long, and are difficult to maintain.
