JIS G3462 outlines specifications for alloy boiler steel tubes designed for heat exchange both internally and externally, encompassing 8 steel grades ranging from STBA12 to STBA26. Similar to JIS G3461, this specification serves a comparable purpose, and tubes of this specification can be supplied in the form of U tubes. However, it does not apply to steel tubes intended for heating furnaces or those designated for low-temperature heat exchangers. Typically, heat treatment of the bent portion is not performed on the final product. Nevertheless, if requested by the customer, an agreement on heat treatment can be arranged.
